my first grocery haulšŸ›’šŸ„¬ in my Goal Body Rebuild Season

2.5 weeks post hysterectomy + surgical menopause and I genuinely cannot believe how good I’m feeling.

Like… I heard so many people say "you're only regret will be not doing it sooner" and good lord, they are right.šŸ˜… like why did I put this off so long - 2025 was SO ROUGH.

I had my 2-week post-op appointment with my doctor and everything is looking really great. I started hormone replacement therapy immediately out of surgery and I’m feeling more like me than I have in a long time...I fear I will never shut up about HRT, because simply put: LIFE CHANGING...but I'm actually covering alllll about all of it on YouTube -video drops end of this week (this is my channel if you want to subscribe)

I’m sharing the full story: why I had a hysterectomy, why I chose surgical menopause at 35 years old, a peek at my whole 2 weeks post-op (I filmed quite a bit, the day after videos are kinda embarrassing but šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø), and my game plan for this whole Goal Body Rebuild Season.

Because with this second lease on life… your girl is not wasting it.

I’m determined to get in my best healthiest hottest fittest happiest body ever. Period.šŸ‘™šŸ‘™šŸŒ¶ļøšŸŒ¶ļø

Now - since I’m easing back into real life and I didn’t want you to miss it…

I posted my grocery haul + the meals I’m making this first week of Rebuild Season, and it’s giving: simple, high-protein, fresh food, no weird diet meals.

Go watch it here → [SEE THE POST]

Here’s what I’m actually eating this week (steal these for next week if you need ideas):

Breakfast

  • Egg bites
  • Protein waffle + peanut butter
  • Side of blueberries
  • Fairlife milk

Super easy, high protein, and it just feels like a solid start to the day without thinking too hard.

Lunch

I have been craving a sandwich because I’m missing fresh food / summer vibes so bad.

  • Turkey + honey mustard + avocado sandwich
  • One of my fave goal body-friendly chips
  • Side of raspberries

It’s so simple but it hits. And it makes me feel like a person again. Lol.

Dinner (I took requests from the boys)

  • Tom’s choice: beef + bean chili
Toppings: shredded cheese + tortilla chips
  • Ben’s choice: BBQ chicken sandwiches
(I do the chicken in the slow cooker) + chips + side salad
  • French dip sandwiches + steamed veggies
  • Salmon bowl with couscous
  • YOYO (Your Own Your Own...our Thursday night ritual where we eat leftovers or whatever is in the fridge/pantry/freezer. this is life giving and helps us cut down on waste. and gives me a break.)

Nothing fancy. Just normal food that works.

Snacks

I just like keeping options stocked—even if I don’t have a snack every day—because it keeps me from doing the ā€œthere’s nothing to eat so I’ll just snack on random stuffā€ thing.

So I grabbed things like:

  • Veggies + hummus
  • Cheese + fruit
  • Dried mango
  • and a few other options you’ll see in the haul too

If you want my exact staple grocery list, the stuff I kept in my cart to lose 100 pounds naturally and still makes it into the weekly rotation —grab my Goal Body All Stars list here:

Save it, use it for your next grocery run, and let it do the thinking for you.

And keep an eye out for that YouTube video later this week. I was really honest in it, because I know there are women silently dealing with hormone stuff and major health decisions and feeling confused and alone… and you’re not.

XO,
Hilary
